Electives

During the winter and spring terms, we work to open the world beyond the basic school subjects. Each educator and office staff member has unique and individual talents.

Four days per week, these adults offer a class that shares their passions with the students of TRCS. Teachers love the chance to teach hobbies to students. The talent is endless. Sometimes we also develop elective ideas by asking the students what they would like to study.

 

We have had classes such as:

Photography, Architecture, Art History, Painting, Modular Origami, Current Events, Creative Writing, Poetry, Yearbook, Stock Market Investing, Drama, Cross Country Running, Painting Furniture, Computer Programs, Cooking, Knitting, Crocheting, Quilting, Sewing, etc.

We will continue to offer electives in the hopes that we can bring the world into TRCS in a real and passionate manner.
