2003-2004 Lego Team - Legonauts
2003/2004 Legonaut Team Members: John, Chris, Travis, Tyler, Clara, Sachie, Nick and Eric.The Lego team has entered this district/state/national competition the last two years. We have had a strong showing each year. This team is coached by Greg McKenzie, who provides the engineering mentorship necessary to understand the problems posed.
The parents and students of this team start work in September and are ready to present their answer to the engineering challenge at the district Lego Challenge in December.
The winning teams from this event continue on to the State competition. From this the winning teams are invited to Nationals. For the last two years, our Lego team has earned awards in Teamwork! During the 2002/2003 school year, the team earned a second place trophy in the district meet.
During the 2003/2004 school year, our team qualified to attend the state event, where they earned a third place award in TEAMWORK. We are very proud of the strong team effort of both of our teams!
