7th Grade Math-2018-19

In Term 3, 7th grade math students began by finished a book on data collection and analysis, looking at a number of different styles of charts and graphs to look at the spread of data and patterns within. Following ODS and spring break, students have embarked upon their IP math journey earlier than other classes. For our group, the project will take a full month because each student is completing a probability-based carnival game tied to their topic. At the end of the month, the class will conduct a school-wide math carnival to test their games and gather data. Ultimately, each game will show up on students' IP boards, as well, so parents, too, can get a chance to play! The end of the year will conclude with our final math book, returning to linear relationships and extending our knowledge in that arena.
