Math -- Murray

In 5th grade math, we will review/master calculations with large whole numbers; learn prime factorization; use fractions as ratios, unit rates, decimals, and percents, discovering equivalence and absolute value on the number line; master addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions; work in geometry with area/perimeter of the most common geometric shapes, as well as surface area and volume of rectangular prisms.
