This is our plan for Comprehensive Distance Learning for Spring 2021.

on behalf of the PRC s staff I'm happy to walk you through what are CDL program will look like moving forward into term 3 we released are hybrid plan on Wednesday and hope you have had time to watch that video from mr. Chapin if you missed it is available on the website the number 3 RCS. Org we know that some of our families will prefer to stay in remote learning for the remaining months of the school year we hope you can appreciate that without knowing the final choices of our families we have tried to put the best program together with that said we are flexible and will make changes if our preliminary estimates are way off thanks to all of you for your initial responses on January survey it helped us gauge where the community was on hybrid versus CDL for the spring here's what we know every student who decides to continue in CDL will also be placed in a cohort this will allow are you to easily make the switch to hybrid if you so choose during the course of the spring term this will also put our CDL students into manageable groups for me to work with I will be your student CDL learning coach for all subject math 2 days a week your student alternate will tune in to their math class with the same teacher they've had all year it will be in the morning and the time will be consistent for each grade level your way will continue he lives in class with me or access later if wanting to go fully asynchronous for about an hour two days a week this hour will cover the lesson but not necessarily all of the work we are still aiming for about 4 hours FDLE work per week for all other subjects your student will be working asynchronously with me and several other staff members as guides and was scheduled check-ins again without knowing the final decisions from our families weed quite have a solidified schedule for this but here's one way to think about it if your student is in cohort a they would attend school there math classes their Ela Class B zoom on Mondays and Tuesdays you can see in the morning a TuneIn for their life math lesson from the teacher that they've had all year long in the afternoon they would work with me on Ela English Language Arts students will be working third grade level standards but we also be doing some collaborative work across the grade levels and then if they are in for a on Thursdays and Fridays they would have scheduled meetings with me and other staff members to check in on their daily tasks math work at set and then they would have time to work asynchronously on that math work as assigned by the math teacher in the afternoon on a Thursday and Friday would be working asynchronously on social studies science and some others objects with at least one staff member available for either scheduled meetings or drop in meetings a reminder that Wednesday is asynchronous for all hybrid and CDL students if they have would be in cohort B were basically looking at a flip-flop of cohorts a corteza schedule where Monday Tuesday would be more of that asynchronous work time and meeting times with both myself and other staff members and then there's Thursday Friday would be when they Tune In For Life math lesson with their classroom math teacher and then in the afternoon they would work with me live on an Ela again Wednesday is asynchronous for all high and CDL students it is possible that all of the CDL students will be in the same cohort so for example they might all be in cohort a we just don't know this yet without knowing how you answered but if they are split into two cohorts we will create a time for CDL students to connect as a CDL cohort of sorts this would likely be in the afternoon but would be a consistent time each week several times a week ideally we also Landon corporate rstudio students into the Greater Community if they so choose this would likely happen on Wednesdays during our already scheduled Community Building dates alternatively if your child would like to work sweetly asynchronously we would be able to set them up in a Florida virtual curriculum and set up a once we check in with me who would remain there distance learning coach as you can see the most crucial next step of the planning process is knowing what you and Christian is choosing hybrid or CDL please look for the survey in the wave and fill it out by Monday February 15th for those of you who were still deciding or unsure about which route to choose we hope this information and information provide Master Chief in this video has been helpful please reach out to mr.
