To our TRCS Families, Friends, and Supporters,

In consideration of the well-being of our community and the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, we cancelled our Benefit Auction scheduled for April 17th, and are hosting a virtual online auction beginning on May 7, 2020.

Fundraising remains essential for TRCS
TRCS is heavily dependent on fundraising to provide the quality educational experience that our community values. Approximately 30% of our annual budget relies on fundraising to bridge the gap in charter school funding.
As a public charter school in the State of Oregon, TRCS receives less funding per child than traditional public schools, is faced with rising PERS costs, and TRCS does not receive state or local funding for facility-related expenses.

Virtual Online Auction
Beginning on May 7, 2020, through May 17, 2020, we will hold an online auction with the generous item donations already received from businesses and individuals. We will update you when the online item catalog is available for viewing in advance of the May 7th opening date. As with the live event, you are encouraged to visit and share this event website with friends and family.
At the heart of TRCS is the mantra “Your Life is What You Make It!” and the belief that individualized education allows students to reach their highest potential. Since opening our doors in 2001, the generosity and support of our families, staff, and community over the years has built TRCS into a program of academic excellence our students benefit from today. Continued financial support is essential to cover our fixed costs such as salaries and benefits for our exceptional staff, and our facility mortgage.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and for your incredible support of TRCS. Looking forward to having our school community back together again when it is safe to do so.
